Simon, our surveyor, was really helpful, and even after the time that's passed since, could recall the details of the property. We thought his report was really thorough, and we really appreciate the effort he clearly went to, and the pride he has in his work. Outstanding Survey Service – Highly Recommended This is now the third time I have used IQS Chartered Surveyors, the first two properties I was planning to purchase appeared fine on the surface, but thanks to the detailed surveys carried out by IQS, a number of serious hidden issues were identified, including damp, potential dry rot concerns, and other defects that were not visible during viewings. Their professional expertise helped me avoid two potentially very costly purchases and ultimately protected what would have been a significant portion of my life savings. Without their thorough investigations and honest advice, I could easily have proceeded with properties that would have required extensive and expensive remedial work. Although it was disappointing to withdraw from those purchases at the time, looking back I am extremely grateful for the guidance I received. I have now reached the survey stage on a third property, and once again the survey was carried out to an exceptionally high standard. This time the report has given me confidence that I am purchasing a property without the severe hidden issues found in the previous two. I would especially like to thank Ben Dickinson.
